Accounts

Provide accurate registration information, protect your credentials and notify us if your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity through your account.

You may not sell, share or automate an account in a way that harms the service or other users.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting it, you grant GunChatZA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display it as needed to operate, moderate, back up and promote the service.

The licence ends when content is deleted, except for copies reasonably retained for security, legal compliance, backups and the integrity of discussions.

Acceptable use and moderation

You must follow the Community Rules and South African law. We may investigate reports, preserve records, alter visibility, remove content, restrict features or suspend an account.

We may refuse or remove directory entries, advertisements and listings that are unsafe, misleading, duplicated or outside the site's scope.

Classifieds and third parties

GunChatZA provides a place for members to communicate. It is not the seller, buyer, dealer, payment processor, courier or transfer agent.

Users must verify identities, items and legal requirements independently. External websites and service providers remain responsible for their own content and services.

News, knowledge and automated tools

Automated tools may assist with sourced editorial material. Errors can still occur. News, discussions and guides provide general information and do not constitute legal, medical, safety, financial or other professional advice.

Availability, liability and governing law

The service is supplied on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, GunChatZA is not liable for user conduct, transactions between users, reliance on community content, third-party services or indirect loss.

Nothing here excludes a right or liability that South African law does not permit us to exclude. These terms are governed by South African law and may be updated with a new effective date.
