How to start a useful discussion and format a post

0 replies · 1 views · Locked

Choose Start a new thread in the forum that best matches the subject. Use a title that tells readers what the discussion is about, such as “Help identifying a front-sight option for a CZ P-09” rather than “Need help”.

State the context, what you have already checked and the specific question. Use the formatting toolbar for headings, bold or italic text, quotations, lists, links, code blocks and images. Preview the post before publishing when formatting or attachments matter.

Upload only files you have the right to share. Remove personal information from photographs and documents. Keep attachments relevant and within the displayed file limits.

For a correction, edit your post and explain any material change. Do not erase a discussion's context after others have replied.
